For Construction
AI is the new apprentice. You stay the foreman.
A human-first AI track for both sides of the build: contractors in the field running crews, bids, change orders, and punch lists, and developers and PMs on the owner side juggling schedules, scope, reporting, and stakeholders. AI carries the paperwork at apprentice speed; you keep the judgment, the numbers, and the signature.
Field, trades, owner-operator, jobsite workflow
Project developer / PM, bids, schedule, client comms
Pick your side with the "I am a" toggle in the top bar (on phones, it lives in the menu). It floats your side's exercises to the top of each module. Nothing is hidden.

Reframing AI for the Trades
Stop thinking "AI is for tech people." It is the apprentice that does your paperwork: fast, tireless, and dead wrong with total confidence unless you check it. You stay the foreman.

Build Your Contractor Context Document
A one-page "About my business" you paste at the top of every AI chat about your work, so you stop re-explaining yourself and the drafts stop coming back generic. Build it with the Construction Context Document tool.

Estimating with AI
Speed estimate prep: organize a spec and your takeoff into a clean, line-item worksheet, draft your inclusions, exclusions, and the clarifying questions that protect your margin, without ever letting AI invent a quantity or a number. Build the estimate worksheet, then send the scope-clarification letter before you commit a price.

RFPs & Proposals with AI
Respond to an RFP without missing the requirement that disqualifies you. AI reads the whole solicitation, pulls every requirement into a compliance matrix, flags the ambiguities for an RFI, and drafts your response outline in your voice. You confirm every capability you claim is real before it goes out.

RFIs, Submittals & Change Orders
Draft clear change-order narratives and turn a messy walkthrough into a trackable punch list, fast. Every dollar and contract term stays human-verified, and personal details that identify someone (names, Social Security numbers, payroll info) stay out. That is PII, and it never goes into a chat. AI drafts the story; the numbers and the signature stay yours.

Define Your Repeatable Jobsite Workflow
Turn one recurring job into a documented, repeatable, AI-assisted workflow with human checkpoints: the kind a PM or apprentice can run the same way every time. Start with project intake or a subcontractor scope of work.

Deal Negotiations: Practice with AI
First build your plan in the Negotiation Prep exercise, then use AI to play the person across the table in the two negotiations that decide your margin: locking the final bid and prime contract at award, and getting paid for a change order mid-project. Prep, then rehearse holding your number and your terms before it counts for real.

The Prompt Architecture: T.E.C.R.E.I.
Stop hunting for clever wording. A reliable prompt has six parts. Fill all six and the quality stops being luck.

Advancing Prompting
Once the architecture is solid, these six techniques raise the ceiling: reverse, recursive, self-critique, deeper reasoning, debate, and creative temperature. Optional depth: be comfortable with the T.E.C.R.E.I. basics first.

Mastering AI Research
AI invents facts when it has none. Research mode fixes that by grounding every answer in sources you trust. Includes NotebookLM fundamentals.

Build Your Company's Second Brain
The high-level play, and the real upsell beyond task-by-task AI: start transcribing across the business (client projects, sales calls, and your core workflows) so every conversation becomes company knowledge instead of evaporating. AI turns it into SOPs and post-mortems in one shared system the whole team pulls from, so nothing lives in anyone's head and every bid and sales call gets sharper.

Build once, reuse everywhere
Your Construction Context Document
Build the one-page "About my business" you paste at the top of every AI conversation about your work, whether you run crews in the field or run projects from the office. Answer these once, then reuse it on every job; update it about once a quarter and otherwise leave it alone. Keep client and sub legal names, signed dollar values, and payroll or bond numbers out, use role labels like "the GC," "Sub A," and "the Owner."
